Still Waiting for my repair!!!!
I requested microwave and oven repair through American Home Shield (my home warranty company). They sent out Accord Appliance on January 7, 2020. Repairman stated he needed to order parts for both items. He would be back in 7 to 10 days. I called after 2 weeks and was told they had the microwave parts but still waiting on parts for the oven and they expected it to arrive on the 21st. I called back after that date and they said my order was cancelled! I asked why and they could not tell me. They called back and said they have the parts for my microwave and waiting for oven parts and it should be arriving tomorrow (the 24th). I called back on the 26th and they said the order was cancelled!!!! WHAT!!!???? I asked to speak to some one else. She refused to let me talk to anyone saying there was nothing they could do. I hung up. Called back later and was told the part would be arriving that day and they would call me to set appt. I told them if the part for the oven does not arrive I still want them to come and fix the microwave. She said they could not do that. I again asked to speak to supervisor. She said no one else was there to talk to. I called back on the 29th to check on the status and once again I was told the order was cancelled. What the heck is going on!!!!! Once again I asked to speak to supervisor. She refused. I told her I was coming down in person and hung up on her. She called back about 5 minutes later and stated they have the part for the microwave and the part for the oven would arrive tomorrow and they would call me to set appt once oven part has arrived. OMG they have been telling me that every time I call (after they tell me the order has been cancelled) so I have no idea if they really have the microwave parts or not. I called back to my home warranty company (American Home Shield) to tell them the situation and they tried to contact Accord Appliance but could not get through so they sent a "recall" notice to them which issued a new claim #. I have still not heard from them. I called back to American Home Shield and they tried once again to contact Accord Appliance but could not get through to them. American Home Shield sent over yet another email as well as left voice mail message telling them to contact me. Terrible Service. No Service. Still waiting! I think the ONLY reason they are even in business is because of the contract they have with home warranty companies. Every site I look at for reviews about them show they only have 1 star. Be warned: If you have an option to choose your own repair company DO NOT CHOOSE ACCORD APPLIANCE!
